All Ages Welcome!
Before the internet there were newspapers. Have you ever flipped through actual newsprint pages? Would you like to help infiltrate the reading rooms of the Brookline Library? Come work with Artist-in-Residence, Liz Nofziger, to create your own one-of-a-kind publication using wax pencils and newsprint. Your publications will be nestled into the reading rooms of each library branch among stalwarts such as the Wall Street Journal and The New York Times.
With your own library experiences or favorite stories as a starting point, these art-papers can become anything you want…from revelations of library secrets to scrawled abstractions. These unique newspapers will become part of the library’s collection for as long as they last. Once they have been read to their maximum capacity, the ephemeral medium of newsprint will succumb to the fate of all newspapers, the recycling bin.
